So, I got a letter from the NGV the other day
I didn't get into Top Arts, but along with the letter, I also got one asking if I'd "loan" my work to the DEECD gallery for 200 dollars. I already have one work in there, from early last year. Someone also wants to buy that painting for 100 dollars or more.

My art teacher's parents want to buy two of my paintings for over 200-400 each. So that's exciting, also.

I recieved a call from my local community group, as a friend's father, who is a local established artist recommended me to a lady called Gill, who organises Gallery openings locally. I haven't been able to recieve her calls because I've been on holidays with my mother, sister and boyfriend in Phillip Island. Apparently I can ask for over a grand per painting, as people usually buy artwork from these openings. So that's exciting news also.

I've been rather ill these past few days. So other than taking 4metre tall waves on in 40degree heat, I've also been relaxing and watching House seasons from episode to episode, along with reading John Marsden's "Tomorrow" series, again.

I'm excited about picking up a paintbrush because I'm actually ready to. It's been a while.
